Bottled Water Sustainability Partnerships

Highland Spring Group and Altruistiq have announced a new partnership that will see the bottled water brand leveraging the latter brand's sustainability software to help the brand with decarbonization. The three-year partnership will see the Product Footprinting module from Altruistiq being used to calculate the carbon footprint for hundreds of product SKUs from start to finish. This will help the brand to reduce its emissions across its operations and shift towards greater sustainability practices with its core products.

Head of Sustainability at Highland Spring Group Emily Bond spoke on the partnership with Altruistiq saying, "Partnering with Altruistiq represents a significant step forward in our journey to reduce emissions across our entire operations from source to shelf. Their platform enables us to understand emissions at SKU level and apply that knowledge directly to decisions on packaging, procurement and operations. This partnership will support our decarbonisation roadmap while ensuring we meet the needs of our customers, regulators and stakeholders.”
