Honda is working toward carbon neutrality for all products and corporate activities it is involved in by 2050, and one of the ways the well-known car manufacturer is pursuing this goal is with Honda DREAMO, an innovation that shows up in Alpron's IZMO Bio+Energy Drink.

Honda DREAMO is a modified microalgae strain developed to rapidly absorb CO₂ and minimize energy consumption, and this high-efficiency nutrition source has applications in everything from food and dietary supplements to animal feed. Honda can adjust the composition of DREAMO to have 60% carbohydrates or 69% proteins in just three days, and the company is licensing DREAMO to partners like Alpron.

Alpron's IZMO Bio+Energy Drink, currently crowdfunding on Makuake, boasts five grams of protein per serving, 10 grams of carbohydrates, 200 milligrams of sugar, and 63 calories.
