La Poste, Temu Work to Reduce Environmental Impact
Colin Smith — February 13, 2026La Poste and Temu signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen logistics collaboration in France, formalised through La Poste’s parcel arm Colissimo. The agreement aims to expand local fulfilment capacity, simplify delivery options for consumers, and increase access for French sellers to cross border markets; Temu projects that local sellers and local fulfilment could account for a growing share of its European sales.
The partners state the collaboration will prioritise environmental responsibility by promoting more efficient logistics flows and local sourcing to reduce transport distances and associated emissions. La Poste describes the arrangement as a standard commercial logistics collaboration that builds on existing parcel handling arrangements and will operate under the operator’s universal service obligations, while both organisations plan to share infrastructure and operational practices to improve service reliability and carbon efficiency.
