Through their strategic collaboration, DHL Express and Cambridge University Press & Assessment are focusing on diminishing the carbon footprint associated with the international shipment of educational materials.

This eco-minded initiative utilizes DHL's GoGreen Plus service, which enables clients to allocate sustainable aviation fuel for their freight, even if the specific aircraft carrying their goods does not physically use it, through a book-and-claim accounting system. This approach is projected to lower the greenhouse gas emissions from the publisher's international shipments by approximately twenty-four percent, equating to a reduction of nearly 1,500 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent annually.

For Cambridge University Press & Assessment, which moves a substantial volume of exam papers globally, logistics constituted about a quarter of its total measured emissions. As such, the partnership with DHL Express is a significant step toward its broader environmental targets.
