All-Electric Truck Transitions

NX Group Expands Logistics in Shanghai with Zero-Emission Fleet

NX Group has introduced four all-electric truck models into the Shanghai area, advancing its efforts to reduce emissions and promote sustainable logistics. Operated by Nippon Express (China) Co., Ltd. and Nippon Express Global Logistics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the trucks deliver zero CO2 emissions, low noise, and intelligent route optimization. With a maximum payload of 8,060 kg, they are well-suited for intra-city and short-haul transport while contributing to Shanghai’s broader carbon neutrality goals. The deployment also reflects NX Group’s support for the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and builds on its introduction of more than 12,000 eco-friendly vehicles in Japan, including hybrids, EVs, and fuel-cell trucks. The addition of these trucks strengthens NX Group’s position as a sustainability leader in logistics while aligning with Chinese regulatory priorities. By offering eco-friendly delivery options, the company enhances its competitive advantage in green logistics services, bolsters client trust, and positions itself to capture future growth opportunities as businesses seek lower-carbon supply chain partners.
