DHL Renewed its Partnership with Suntory with New Eco Focus
Colin Smith — February 12, 2026DHL Supply Chain and Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I have expanded their logistics partnership to accelerate decarbonisation across Suntory’s UK operations. The agreement makes Suntory a GoGreen Plus customer and includes deployment of low and zero carbon transport solutions, on site co‑packing to reduce road miles, and targeted investments in low emission technologies.
The expanded scope includes a reported investment of over £1 million in low and zero carbon transport measures and the use of fuels such as hydrotreated vegetable oil and biogas, which DHL estimates can reduce emissions by around 80 percent compared with conventional fossil fuels. DHL projects that integrating these measures into Suntory’s network could deliver a Scope 3 reduction of more than 2,300 tonnes of CO2e annually, and the partners plan to monitor outcomes to inform further scaling of sustainable logistics practices.
