Digital Sustainability Strategies
ThinkPalm Partners with Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore
Debra John — February 23, 2026ThinkPalm Technologies has partnered with Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) in Singapore to advance environmentally focused digital sustainability initiatives through Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies. Formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, the collaboration centers on reducing energy consumption and lowering carbon emissions across campus operations.
In the first phase, ThinkPalm will deploy its IIoT platform at NYP’s Green Data Centre to create a measurable model for energy efficiency. The system will monitor power usage in real time, identify inefficiencies, and support data-driven decisions that optimize performance while minimizing environmental impact. By improving visibility into energy patterns, the initiative aims to reduce waste and contribute to long-term emissions reduction goals.
The Green Data Centre will also serve as a reference site for sustainable infrastructure practices, offering industry stakeholders insight into practical, technology-enabled decarbonization strategies. Future expansion into engineering classrooms and laboratories may further embed sustainability principles into applied learning environments.
