Nemetschek Group is Working with NTU Singapore
Colin Smith — February 13, 2026The Nemetschek Group and Nanyang Technological University Singapore have established a strategic partnership to accelerate the translation of AI research into practical tools for the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations sectors. The collaboration is intended to integrate Nemetschek’s software ecosystem with NTU’s research in physics informed AI, microclimate modelling, generative design optimisation, and AI safety frameworks to develop solutions that improve productivity, resilience, and sustainability in the built environment.
The agreement was formalised in a signing ceremony between NTU President Professor Ho Teck Hua and Nemetschek Group CEO Yves Padrines and sets out joint activities to move academic research into deployable workflows for design to operations. Planned workstreams include developing AI enabled design to operations workflows, testing climate responsive and low embodied carbon approaches, and creating mechanisms for industry adoption and verification to support measurable sustainability outcomes.
