AI-Focused Innovation Schools

Sunway University has launched a new AI School focused on applying artificial intelligence to sustainable innovation across industry and society. The school is structured to combine foundational AI education with applied research in areas such as energy efficiency, environmental monitoring, smart cities, and circular economy solutions. It emphasizes interdisciplinary coursework and research, bringing together computer science, data analytics, engineering, and domain specialists to translate AI methods into practical sustainability outcomes while maintaining AI ethics standards.
