TemperPack Launched Its Padded Mailer to Replace E-Commerce Boxes

American packaging manufacturer TemperPack launched a recyclable padded mailer made from its proprietary 'WaveKraft' paper, offering online retailers a curbside-recyclable alternative to cardboard boxes for shipping fragile goods. The mailer earned a recyclable rating from How2Recycle and is made with 50% recycled paper sourced from FSC-certified mills.
Testing showed that the paper-based cushion absorbs more impact than standard plastic mailers, while an opening makes the format easier to pack and load than traditional padded envelopes. The design reduces weight-related costs and cuts fulfillment steps for sectors such as cosmetics, vitamins and small electronics.
