SPX FLOW’s APV brand has received a 2026 SEAL Sustainable Product Award for an innovation within its Infusion UHT processing system known as SteamRecycle™. This technology modifies the traditional ultra-high temperature treatment method, which is essential for sterilizing dairy and beverage products, by creating a closed-loop system that captures, purifies, and reuses process steam rather than discharging it after a single use.
The SteamRecycle™ processing system is engineered to eliminate the continuous need for fresh boiler steam generated by fossil fuels during production, thereby aiming to significantly reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions for manufacturers.
This award represents the third consecutive sustainability recognition for the company’s processing technologies, following previous accolades for other equipment solutions.
