Recum, a South Korean social enterprise specializing in sports innovation, is set to transform the tennis industry with its eco-friendly table tennis balls. Leveraging its proprietary Post-Consumer Recycled ABS (PCR-ABS) technology, Recum has successfully developed high-performance balls crafted from recycled plastics, a breakthrough that meets the stringent quality standards set by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).

Recum is now focusing on major markets in Europe and North America, where regulatory measures such as the EU Plastic Tax and rising consumer demand for sustainable solutions in sports equipment are driving growth.

“Our brand, FitU, signifies our commitment to tailoring sustainability to the needs of every player and the planet,” says Sun-kyu Kwon, CEO of Recum. “By localizing production in Korea and pioneering recycled sports gear, we are proving that high-stakes competitive sports can lead the way in environmental stewardship.”
