Recycled Yarn Sports Debuts
Taylor Fritz and Matteo Berrettini Wear New Recycled Yarn from BOSS

BOSS is debuting its NovaPoly yarn, a recycled alternative to virgin polyester, through ambassadors Taylor Fritz and Matteo Berrettini at the Melbourne tournament starting January 18. Developed with Jiaren Chemical Recycling and NBC LLC, NovaPoly is made from pre- and post-consumer textile waste and features an additive that accelerates biodegradation in anaerobic, microbially active environments.
The yarn will appear in the athletes’ jerseys, shorts, and caps, highlighting BOSS’ commitment to sustainable materials. As the second innovation under The Change initiative, NovaPoly will also be available to consumers this month in stores, online, and through select wholesale partners worldwide. The company will also use the yarn in consumer-facing products, some of which will launch in January 2026 through BOSS stores and online.
