Taylor Shellfish Farms Gains a New Certification
Kalin Ned — January 2, 2025Taylor Shellfish Farms, a prominent North American producer of oysters and other bivalves, has been formally certified as compliant with the Aquaculture Stewardship Council's environmental and social standards following an independent audit. This designation is noted as a first for a shellfish farm within the United States.
The Aquaculture Stewardship Council certification process is extensive and involves site inspections across multiple farming regions in Washington state.
