Clarke Energy Delivers a 4 MW Trigeneration Plant for Capraci
Mursal Rahman — July 29, 2026Trigeneration power plants are helping manufacturers improve energy efficiency by producing electricity, heat, and cooling from a single fuel source. Clarke Energy is delivering a 4 MW trigeneration system for Capraci's production facility in Abidjan, where recovered exhaust heat will generate superheated water for pasta production while an absorption chiller supplies cooling for on-site operations. By combining multiple energy functions into one integrated system, the facility can reduce fuel consumption, lower emissions, and improve overall operational efficiency compared with separate energy systems. The project also includes a long-term service agreement to maintain reliable performance throughout its lifecycle.
For industrial manufacturers, trigeneration offers a practical way to strengthen energy security, stabilize operating costs, and improve productivity while advancing emissions reduction goals. As energy prices and reliability become increasingly important, integrated energy systems could see broader adoption across manufacturing and food processing industries.
