Electrified Thermal Introduced an E-Brick Production Facility

Electrified Thermal Solutions, a developer of industrial thermal energy storage systems, has introduced a new headquarters and production facility in the Boston area to scale manufacturing of its electrically conductive firebricks (“E-Bricks”).
These components are central to the Joule Hive™ Thermal Battery, which enables industries to replace fossil fuel–based heat with electrified, low-emission alternatives. By increasing production capacity to support over 500 MWh of annual deployments, the facility strengthens the infrastructure needed to decarbonize high-temperature industrial processes.
The initiative contributes to building a localized, U.S.-based supply chain in partnership with HarbisonWalker International (HWI), improving material efficiency and reducing transportation-related emissions. The facility’s launch aligns with a growing portfolio of deployments in energy-intensive sectors such as steel, cement, chemicals, and mining, where electrified thermal storage can significantly lower carbon output. This expansion reflects Electrified Thermal’s broader objective of advancing scalable, sustainable industrial energy solutions.
