HyAxiom, in partnership with Scale Microgrid Solutions, NuPower, LLC., and C.E. Floyd, is constructing a multi-megawatt power generation facility in Bridgeport, Connecticut, which will be the first in the United States to stack fuel cell units on multiple levels.

The installation will consist of twenty-one individual units with a combined electrical output of 9.6 megawatts. These will operate on a combined heat and power principle. This configuration is designed to capture the waste heat produced during electricity generation and redirect it to meet local heating requirements, thereby increasing the system's overall energy efficiency.

HyAxiom presents its multi-story fuel cell project as a scalable model for enhancing local energy resilience and reducing emissions associated with power generation. While the company has experience with similar multi-story deployments in other countries, this project represents its largest and most architecturally complex undertaking within the U.S. market to date.
