Quest One, a manufacturer of advanced proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer systems, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure. The collaboration is focused on optimizing the construction process for industrial-scale green hydrogen production facilities in North America. The strategic initiative emphasizes the use of standardized, modular design approaches to enhance constructability, reduce project capital costs, and mitigate installation complexities. Quest One’s Modular Hydrogen Platform (MHP) is engineered for scalability, enabling configurations ranging from 10 MW to several hundred megawatts, which aligns with the goal of streamlining large-scale electrolysis projects.

The partnership leverages MasTec’s extensive expertise in renewable energy infrastructure construction and project management with Quest One’s technical innovations in PEM electrolyzers. By integrating these complementary capabilities, the collaboration aims to drive operational efficiencies and accelerate deployment timelines for green hydrogen facilities. This effort is positioned to support the growing demand for zero-emission energy solutions and to contribute to the broader objectives of decarbonization across industrial sectors.
