Plastic-Made Flower Food Satchets
Vaselife International Debuts New Packaging for its Food Sachets
Kanesa D — January 21, 2026Vaselife International has rolled out updated packaging for its cut flower food sachets that is simpler, more recyclable, and more sustainable. The new sachets are made from polyethylene and contain 35% recycled plastic sourced from post-consumer waste, reducing reliance on new, fossil-based materials.
By switching to a single-material design, the packaging is easier to recycle and supports a more circular use of plastics, while maintaining the same performance and shelf life customers expect. The recycled content also ensures the packaging meets current and upcoming UK and European regulations.
"Vaselife develops flower care products for the entire flower supply chain, from grower to consumer. The company focuses on sustainability and continues to invest in technologies that improve the environmental performance of both its products and packaging," says Nick MacDonald, Managing Director at Vaselife International.
