Wadico Unveils a Sustainable Phosphate Production Facility

The New Valley Company for Mineral Resources and Oil Clay (Wadico) has officially opened two new projects designed to improve phosphate production efficiency and create a better workplace for its employees.
The first project introduces Wadico’s first ore production line, which uses modern, eco-friendly technology to produce higher-quality phosphate while reducing environmental impact. The second project is a new accommodation camp for workers, built to ensure safe, comfortable, and sustainable living conditions at the company’s sites in Upper Egypt.
The new production line features advanced systems that minimize dust and pollution, helping protect workers’ health and the surrounding environment. A state-of-the-art control room, equipped with surveillance cameras and monitoring systems, oversees every stage of the process to maintain efficiency, safety, and consistent product quality.
