Clean Molecule Solutions

Developed in collaboration with SAP, Deloitte's specialized software offering — referred to as the 'Clean Molecule Solution' — aims to serve enterprises operating within emerging low-carbon energy sectors. The 'Clean Molecule Solution' is a pre-configured module designed to integrate with the SAP Cloud ERP platform to purportedly address the unique operational and financial complexities of managing value chains for hydrogen, biofuels, and carbon capture. The solution is presented as an end-to-end system encompassing a wide array of business functions — from supply chain logistics and manufacturing to financial planning and sustainability tracking. Companies investing in clean hydrogen or biofuel production face novel challenges, such as managing intermittent feedstocks, optimizing for government incentives and tax credits, and accurately tracking the carbon lifecycle of their products to meet regulatory and market demands. The stated goal of the 'Clean Molecule Solution' is to enhance profitability and operational efficiency for these specific energy transition businesses.
