Hanon Systems Spotlighted Its Innovation at AAPEX 2025
Kalin Ned — November 9, 2025Hanon Systems showcased its advanced thermal management technologies at the AAPEX 2025 aftermarket exhibition in Las Vegas from November 4-6. This marked the company's first joint exhibition with its new parent company, Hankook & Company Group.
Hanon Systems' display aims to demonstrate integrated solutions for electrified and sustainable mobility. At AAPEX 2025, the company calls attention to the world's first fourth-generation heat pump system for electric vehicles, which utilizes a parallel heat-source recovery structure to simultaneously draw heat from ambient air and waste heat from the motor and battery. This innovation promises to enhance cabin comfort and battery thermal efficiency, ultimately contributing to extended EV driving range.
Aside from the advanced thermal management technology, Hanon Systems also highlights other eco-friendly components, including R744-based electric compressors that have achieved a production milestone of one million units for the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform, and a PACE award-winning visible-light LED photocatalyst HVAC technology that improves in-vehicle air quality with high sterilization and deodorization efficiency.
