Aveleda has achieved B Corp certification, reflecting the winery’s commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible production within the wine industry. As consumer demand grows for sustainably produced beverages, the certification provides a recognized framework for evaluating companies based on environmental and social performance.

Aveleda’s sustainability strategy emphasizes biodiversity conservation, emissions reduction, and resource efficiency. In 2025, the company preserved 319 species of flora and fauna within its historic gardens and planted 1,115 trees across its estates, supporting habitat restoration and ecological resilience. The winery has also "expanded renewable energy use through solar power investments and reported a 47% reduction in direct (Scope 1) CO₂ emissions since 2022."

Packaging improvements further reduce environmental impact, "with 97.6% lightweight bottles used in 2025, lowering material use and transport emissions." Future targets include reducing water consumption, expanding renewable energy production, and increasing electric vehicle adoption to further strengthen sustainable wine production practices.
