ChargePoint Launched Express Solo as Its Fastest EV Charger Yet

ChargePoint launched the 'Express Solo,' a standalone fast EV charging station capable of delivering up to 600 kW to a single vehicle, the highest output among standalone chargers on the market. The compact unit offers roughly 40% higher power density than comparable DC solutions, making it suitable for urban gas stations, convenience stores and other space-constrained sites.
The Express Solo can charge multiple vehicles simultaneously and pairs with an additional dispenser to serve up to four vehicles at once. It also integrates with on-site solar panels, battery storage systems and Eaton's power distribution technology, reducing grid dependency and installation costs during charging.
ChargePoint shows how combining high power output with a smaller physical footprint and compatibility with renewable energy can make high-speed charging practical for consumers.
