SWTCH Energy Debuts a 'Smart Outlet' and 'Flex Charger'

SWTCH Energy has introduced two new electric vehicle (EV) charging products—the 'SWTCH Flex Charger' and the 'SWTCH Smart Outlet,' designed to make EV charging more accessible and sustainable across different types of buildings. The Flex Charger is available in Level 1 and Level 2 models, providing flexible charging options for residential, commercial, and multi-unit properties.
These devices support the transition to electric mobility by helping property owners install scalable charging infrastructure that can grow with rising EV adoption. By enabling easier access to EV charging, the technology contributes to reducing reliance on gasoline-powered vehicles and lowering transportation-related emissions.
Both products are compatible with the SWTCH Cortex™ platform and follow the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), allowing them to connect with broader charging networks. The system also supports energy management, billing, and performance monitoring, helping operators run efficient charging systems while expanding EV access over time.
