Adam Harrie — July 20, 2026According to its newly released FY26 Impact Report, Canada Goose achieved a 50% reduction in market-based Scope 1 and 2 emissions relative to its FY19 baseline, driven by manufacturing facility electrification and the adoption of renewable electricity. The company also secured approval from the Science Based Targets initiative for its near-term and net-zero emissions goals, marking the completion of its first five-year sustainability strategy.
The report highlighted 100% diversion of post-consumer global warranty waste from landfill, up from 78% in FY20, alongside more than 19,000 products recirculated through resale and repair via Canada Goose Generations. Sourcing improvements included 91% of domestic manufacturing materials being classified as Preferred Fibres and Materials, up from 21% in FY21, and 89% of fabrics receiving bluesign approval.
Canada Goose shows how sustained investment in electrification, circularity and supply chain transparency can translate ambitious sustainability targets into verified five-year results.
