Belkin Has Cut Plastic 95% Using Post-Consumer Recycled Materials
Adam Harrie — May 20, 2026In 2025, Belkin achieved Scope 1 and 2 carbon neutrality, reduced CO₂e emissions by 3,200 metric tonnes across its product portfolio, and sold over 21.6 million products containing post-consumer recycled materials. The consumer electronics sustainability and carbon neutrality push has also cut single-use plastic packaging by 95% since 2019, saving 1,072 metric tonnes of virgin plastic cumulatively.
Select products from Belkin now use up to 90% GRS-certified PCR content in plastic-free packaging, with full Scope 3 carbon neutrality officially targeted by at least 2030.
As electronics brands face scrutiny over lifecycle emissions, Belkin shows how pairing realistic, measurable carbon targets with circular material commitments can build a credible sustainability track record that goes beyond claims.
