CarbiCrete will Focus on Conscious Industrial Emitters

Industrial emitters are increasingly being targeted by new decarbonization technologies such as those developed by CarbiCrete, which focus on reducing environmental impact by turning emissions into useful materials. The company has received $700,000 in funding from Natural Resources Canada’s Energy Innovation Program to help create processes that use low-CO₂ or flue-gas emissions to produce cleaner concrete.
This approach helps lower greenhouse gas output while reducing reliance on traditional cement, which is highly carbon-intensive. The Energy Innovation Program supports projects that make energy systems more sustainable and affordable as Canada moves toward a low-carbon future. By encouraging carbon capture and reuse, the program promotes practical solutions that reduce waste and support a healthier environment for communities and future generations worldwide today and beyond.
