Supply Chain Hotel Programs

Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris Honored with Sustainability Efforts

Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris has been awarded the title of 'World’s Leading Sustainable Supply Chain Programme 2025' by the World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards, recognizing the property’s significant progress in advancing environmentally responsible hospitality.

The hotel has restructured its supply chain to prioritize eco-certified materials, reduce waste, and strengthen partnerships that support low-impact operations. This transformation demonstrates how a luxury hotel can meaningfully contribute to climate-conscious tourism while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Central to the hotel’s efforts is a responsible purchasing charter that applies stringent environmental criteria across 14 product and service categories. The initiative "emphasizes Ecolabel, FSC, and GOTS-certified materials, local sourcing, and circular-economy principles designed to limit resource use and lower carbon emissions; to date, 66% of suppliers have adopted the charter, resulting in more than 81% of supplies and packaging being eco-certified and all wood-based products sourced exclusively from FSC- or PEFC-certified origins."
