The Chinese construction machinery firm XCMG has transferred ownership of a newly developed hybrid crane to the international heavy-lift services company Mammoet. This transaction was executed in Germany and it signifies a cooperative venture between two major entities within the industrial equipment and project services fields.

The hybrid crane model is dubbed the XCA60-EV. It incorporates a dual-energy system enabling it to function solely on electric power for a defined operational period while maintaining a significant load capacity. The manufacturer asserts the design includes an intelligent management system that optimizes power use, claiming a substantial reduction in fuel usage relative to older, standard cranes.

Executives from both organizations have publicly framed the equipment delivery as a meaningful progression toward ecological objectives within the construction and logistics industries. The transfer also highlights a mutual dedication to lowering emissions and enhancing operational efficiency across European projects.
