Nandina REM Opens Doors to a Recycled Carbon Fiber Facility
Kanesa D — February 11, 2026Nandina REM has officially opened Singapore’s first recycled carbon fiber production facility, which serves as the first in Southeast Asia capable of manufacturing aerospace- and defense-grade carbon fiber sheets from recycled materials.
The plant is already operational, with output set to scale steadily over the coming months. At full capacity, the facility is expected to produce up to five metric tons of recycled carbon fiber sheets per month.
The company’s initial focus is on supplying material for uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), a fast-growing segment in both commercial and defense markets. At peak production, the facility could generate enough material each month to support components for approximately 120 to 180 Group 3 UAS aircraft, or between 5,000 and 8,000 smaller Group 1 drones.
