ODDO Architects Designed the Public Art Pavilion 'T10A' in Hanoi
Kanesa D — April 14, 2026ODDO Architects has created the T10A public art pavilion in Hanoi, Vietnam, using more than 40,000 recycled plastic bags alongside traditional handmade paper to craft the beautiful exhibit. Designed as a temporary venue to showcase Vietnamese architectural work, the project emphasizes local culture and extends the lifespan of discarded materials.
The pavilion incorporates Giấy Dó, a locally produced handmade paper, paired with repurposed plastic to create a distinctive visual identity. Its structure is defined by three large, wing-like roof forms, each dedicated to a different theme: residential architecture, interior design, and sustainability.
During the day, panels made from recycled plastic diffuse natural light, casting dynamic, coloured patterns throughout the space. At night, internal lighting transforms the pavilion into a glowing installation.
Importantly, the project is designed with its full lifecycle in mind. Once the exhibition concludes, the materials will be repurposed into new items such as bags and design products, minimizing waste.
