SPX FLOW announced its expansion into the emerging Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) market through its Bran+Luebbe and Johnson Pump brands — its advanced industrial pumping technologies are adapted for capturing carbon dioxide emissions at their source.

SPX FLOW's metering, process, and centrifugal pumps are designed for CCUS applications, such as solvent injection, chemical dosing, and fluid transfer. These pumping technologies have already been deployed at the Technology Centre Mongstad in Norway — one of the world's largest carbon-capture demonstration sites. There, Johnson Pump CombiChem units and other models operate reliably under challenging conditions involving elevated pressures, temperature fluctuations, and corrosive process streams.

By enabling the capture of up to ninety percent of CO₂ emissions from hard-to-abate industrial sectors like cement, steel, refining, and chemical processing, SPX FLOW's pumping technologies support global efforts to reduce atmospheric carbon and meet climate goals.
