Low Earth Orbit Infrastructures

PowerBank Corporation, a developer and owner of renewable energy infrastructure primarily focused on solar power generation and battery storage systems in North America, has issued a progress report concerning its partnership with the aerospace firm Smartlink AI, also referred to as Orbit AI. The update confirms the recent successful placement of a satellite, designated Genesis-1, into a low Earth orbit following a launch earlier in December 2025.

Genesis-1 forms the initial component of a proposed constellation known as the Orbital Cloud. The solar-powered satellite is reportedly functioning as intended. It utilizes solar panels for energy and hosts technological payloads designed for artificial intelligence data processing and blockchain transaction verification.

PowerBank Corporation and Smartlink AI frame this development as a significant technical validation of a concept to relocate certain computing and communication infrastructure into space.
