Energy Saving Data Hubs

AVAIO Digital has announced the development of its first data center in Spain, strategically located in Algete, within the Community of Madrid. Positioned in the northern corridor of the Spanish capital, the project is situated at the heart of Madrid’s technology hub, enhancing connectivity to key digital infrastructure and resources.

Representing "a capital investment of approximately €650 million, the initiative is expected to contribute significantly to Spain’s rapidly expanding technology sector. It is projected to generate over 500 jobs during construction and approximately 50 permanent on-site positions once operational, drawing from Madrid’s extensive professional talent pool."

The Algete Data Hub will be designed for AI readiness and built to world-class architectural standards, while maintaining a location buffered from residential zones. Sustainable design features will include rainwater recapture systems, rooftop solar installations, and a water-efficient, flexible air-cooled system—aligning operational efficiency with environmental responsibility.
