CH-Bioforce Debuts Its Oat Biomaterials & Hair Styling Technology

Finnish company CH-Bioforce will showcase its range of bio-based cosmetic ingredients at in-cosmetics Global 2026, including new innovations for skincare, haircare and makeup applications.
The portfolio is created using the company's BIOFORSENSE® technology, which transforms upcycled oat husk side streams into functional biomaterials. These include cellulose-based ingredients used as rheology modifiers, emulsifiers, stabilizers and sensory enhancers, with additional moisturizing, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.
The company will also launch 'HAIRFORSENSE™,' a bio-based hair styling product designed to replace fossil-based options while maintaining formulation performance. The material supports microplastic-free formulations that meet evolving regulatory and sustainability standards.
The ingredient selection is backed by COSMOS certification for certain materials.
The showcase highlights ongoing industry efforts to create sustainable, high-performance alternatives in cosmetic formulations.
