Decarbonization Policy Services
Cullen International Surveys Sustainable Transport in the EU
Debra John — March 10, 2026Cullen International has launched a 'Transport and Delivery Sustainability' service that provides regulatory intelligence on European Union policies shaping the transition to low-carbon transport. The service focuses on legislation affecting electric and zero-emission vehicles, transport emissions, sustainable logistics, and the environmental impacts of e-commerce delivery systems across EU Member States.
By tracking evolving regulations, the platform helps organizations understand how governments are "advancing transport decarbonization, air-quality improvements, and reduced greenhouse-gas emissions." It also benchmarks how Member States implement sustainability policies and evaluates environmental commitments made by transport operators, delivery companies, regulators, and vehicle manufacturers.
The service also analyzes emerging initiatives such as the EU’s proposed Industrial Accelerator Act, which introduces criteria for electric vehicles to qualify as “made in the EU.” Vehicles meeting these requirements may gain access to public funding and policy incentives designed to accelerate clean mobility and support the broader transition toward sustainable transportation systems.
