Dow and Univar Solutions Expand Access to Low-Carbon Products

Dow and Univar Solutions have entered a long-term agreement to expand access to Dow's Decarbia™ low-carbon product portfolio across global markets, including personal care, home care, pharmaceuticals and industrial applications. The products are supported by Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) certificates, which provide verified emissions data and help customers better understand the environmental impact of the materials they purchase.
The collaboration combines Dow's low-carbon product offerings with Univar Solutions' global distribution network, making it easier for businesses to source materials that support emissions reduction strategies. By pairing products with transparent carbon footprint information, the companies are helping customers address Scope 3 emissions, which often represent a significant portion of a company's overall climate impact. The approach also highlights the growing role of emissions tracking and verification within supply chains.
As demand for emissions transparency grows, verified low-carbon materials could become increasingly important for companies looking to reduce Scope 3 emissions and improve supply chain accountability.
