Long-Duration Energy Storage
HiTHIUM is scaling long-duration energy storage systems designed to provide four to eight hours of battery capacity across renewable energy, grid, commercial and data center applications. The company has developed an integrated model spanning battery materials, cell manufacturing, system integration and full-lifecycle operations, enabling its storage technologies to support varied power requirements and operating environments. Its products are currently deployed across more than 40 countries and regions.
From a business perspective, HiTHIUM is expanding manufacturing alongside rising global demand for longer-duration storage. Its LDES industrial park in Heze, Shandong, entered production rollout in August 2026, while its Texas facility has also begun production rollout and a Spanish plant is under construction. This distributed manufacturing footprint could strengthen regional supply and delivery capabilities as utilities and commercial customers increasingly require large-scale storage to manage renewable generation and growing electricity demand.
