Renewed Bike Share Programs

Vancouver Bike Share has partnered with Simplii Financial as the “Exclusive E-bike Partner” for the Mobi by Rogers system, introducing a green livery for its fleet of 600 e-bikes to distinguish them from the 2,000 regular bicycles. The partnership includes branded e-bikes and stations, enhancing visibility and accessibility for users across approximately 260 docking stations, of which 36 are equipped with electric charging points. Riders will benefit from special discounts on select trips, reinforcing both organizations’ commitment to promoting sustainable, affordable urban mobility.

Since its 2016 launch, Mobi by Rogers has expanded service coverage throughout Vancouver and extended to the University of British Columbia, where e-bikes were first introduced in 2022. The system achieved 977,000 trips in 2022 and surpassed one million trips in both 2023 and 2024, reflecting growing adoption of shared micromobility. Simplii Financial’s involvement aligns with its strategy to support convenient, eco-friendly solutions for Canadians, marking Mobi’s second rebrand following its transition to Rogers branding in late 2023.
