Eco-Products Has Became the Padres' Official Zero Waste Partner

Eco-Products has joined the San Diego Padres as an official zero-waste partner, anchoring a multi-organization stadium zero-waste composting program that kept over 2,000 tons of material out of landfills during the 2025 season. The system pairs BPI-certified compostable packaging with clearly marked two-stream bins throughout Petco Park and uses a sorting process managed by the venue's janitorial team to prevent contamination.
The 2025 San Diego Padres season saw 856 tons of food and compostable serviceware delivered to Republic Services' composting facility, along with 46 tons of food donated to Father Joe's Mission.
Petco Park shows how aligning packaging choices, collection infrastructure, and composting capacity into a single coordinated system can produce results that individual efforts rarely achieve on their own.
