Outdoor Expo Launches

The Peru Outdoor Expo, launched by 'PROMPERÚ' in the Ancash region, marks a major step forward in advancing sustainable and specialized adventure tourism in the country. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Cordillera Blanca, the event united over 30 local suppliers and 39 international buyers from nine key markets, spotlighting Peru’s leadership in responsible, high-value travel experiences.

Focusing on sustainability, community engagement, and quality assurance, the expo emphasized adventure travel as a key economic driver -- one that benefits local communities while preserving Peru’s extraordinary biodiversity. Key sessions highlighted trends in global adventure tourism, including the growing demand for hiking, cycling, and solo travel. The event also featured SERNANP’s conservation efforts and the Andes Race, underscoring Peru’s commitment to environmental stewardship and experiential travel.
