CEAT has introduced the SecuraDrive CIRCL, a road ready passenger car tyre offered in two variants with up to 90 percent sustainable bio based content by weight. The product was developed at CEAT’s Halol R&D facility and is presented as combining bio based raw material substitutions with tyre engineering to meet safety and performance requirements for passenger vehicles. The launch materials describe specific material innovations including a biopolymer liner, a glycerol based accelerator, and a carbon black free silica solution that together enable the high sustainable content while targeting conventional tyre performance metrics.

CEAT positions SecuraDrive CIRCL as part of a broader strategy to advance eco smart mobility and to reduce the tyre industry’s reliance on fossil feedstocks through material innovation and scaled manufacturing. The company states the two variants are intended to offer choices for consumers and fleet operators seeking lower embodied carbon options without changing tyre fitment or vehicle systems, and public reporting frames the launch as a benchmark for sustainable tyre development in India.
