Growing Matters has relaunched its 2026 BeSure! campaign, an initiative focused on promoting environmentally responsible agricultural practices and sustainable crop protection. The campaign encourages growers and applicators to adopt best management practices that help safeguard ecosystems while maintaining productive farming operations.
Timed to coincide with key planting and growing seasons, the initiative emphasizes the importance of careful product application and seed treatment to reduce unintended environmental impacts. A central focus of the campaign is pollinator protection, particularly supporting practices that help protect bees and other beneficial wildlife that play essential roles in agricultural ecosystems.
Since its introduction in 2019, BeSure! has worked to engage growers producing crops such as corn, soybeans, fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants. Through educational resources and industry collaboration, the campaign promotes stewardship approaches that balance agricultural productivity with biodiversity protection, sustainable land management, and long-term environmental resilience.
