Wildlife-Supporting Online Auctions

Wildlife SOS has announced the launch of its 13th annual 'Bid to be Wild' online auction, a fundraising initiative designed to support global wildlife conservation and animal welfare efforts. Scheduled to take place from April 22 to April 28, the virtual event offers a curated selection of wildlife-themed items, including handmade clothing, artwork, and specialty gifts, alongside symbolic contributions such as sponsoring daily food provisions for rescued animals.

The auction serves as a platform to engage public participation in conservation financing, with all proceeds directed toward Wildlife SOS’s ongoing initiatives. These include the rescue and rehabilitation of elephants from exploitative conditions, the provision of specialized veterinary care, and the operation of the Elephant Conservation and Care Centre (ECCC), a dedicated facility focused on long-term treatment and welfare.

By leveraging a digital auction format, the initiative promotes accessible, low-impact fundraising while supporting sustainable conservation practices and raising awareness of wildlife protection challenges.
