H55 has delivered certified battery modules to Pratt & Whitney Canada for integration into the RTX Hybrid-Electric Flight Demonstrator, marking one of the first industrial-scale deployments of a hybrid-electric aviation battery system in an active flight-test program. The company has logged more than 2,000 flight hours across multiple aircraft programs with no battery-related incidents.

H55 also became the first company to complete the required propulsion battery certification testing. Its architecture combines independent cell characterization, redundant safety systems and regulator-aligned testing designed around worst-case failure scenarios. Pratt & Whitney cited these capabilities as critical to demonstrating hybrid-electric propulsion in flight.

H55 shows how battery developers are reaching the level of industrial maturity needed to support major aerospace programs with certification-ready systems.
