Corporate-Sponsored Beach Cleanups

Corporate-sponsored beach cleanups are gaining long-term support through a partnership between Eightpoint Technologies and Plastic Free Cayman. The agreement establishes a three-year commitment to recurring coastal conservation activities, moving beyond individual cleanup events to provide consistent resources for removing plastic waste and litter from local beaches.

Beginning in October 2026, Eightpoint will fund four cleanup events annually, supporting 12 activities through September 2029. The initiative will bring together community volunteers, company employees, and their guests to collect discarded materials along the Cayman Islands' coastline. The sponsorship also contributes to Plastic Free Cayman's existing monthly cleanup efforts.

For businesses, this partnership demonstrates how sustained environmental sponsorships can strengthen community relationships and encourage employee participation in conservation.
