Maynilad Water Services Solidifies a Program for Sustainable Water Supply

Maynilad Water Services, Inc. is expanding its NEW WATER program as part of a broader effort to secure more sustainable and climate-resilient water sources.
One of its latest developments is the Valenzuela Modular Treatment Plant, which is designed to produce potable water from treated wastewater. The facility is currently maintained as a backup supply and can be activated during service interruptions or maintenance of primary water sources. When in use, it can deliver up to 1 million liters of water per day to selected areas in Barangay Marulas, Valenzuela City.
The NEW WATER produced undergoes multiple advanced purification steps, including ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, and final disinfection. These processes ensure the water meets national drinking water standards and is safe for consumption.
The company is also preparing to launch another NEW WATER facility in Pasay.
