Reju announced the selection of Rochester, New York, as the site for its first industrial facility in the United States, marking a key milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy.

The Rochester facility will form part of Reju’s growing international network of regeneration hubs—it complements 'Regeneration Hub Zero,' the company’s demonstration plant currently operating in Frankfurt, Germany, as well as 'Regeneration Hub One,' planned for Chemelot Industrial Park in Sittard, the Netherlands, which was announced previously. Together, these facilities are designed to support the transition from pilot-scale development to commercial-scale operations.

Moreover, Reju’s regeneration process is based on proprietary recycling technology developed by Technip Energies and IBM Research. The technology enables textile-to-textile recycling, initially focused on polyester, producing 'Reju Polyester' with an estimated carbon footprint approximately 50 percent lower than virgin polyester and designed for multiple recycling cycles.
