Supply Chain Carbon Platforms
ASUENE Has Acquired Supply Chain Platform Secaro to Expand Globally
Adam Harrie — July 23, 2026ASUENE completed its acquisition of supply chain platform Secaro, marking the company's eighth acquisition to date and deepening its presence across Europe and North America. Secaro brings supply chain sustainability data collection, analytics and supplier decarbonization programs to ASUENE's platform, serving global manufacturers including Toyota, Honda and GM through a network of more than 8,000 companies across over 90 countries.
The deal comes as regulatory pressure mounts on manufacturers to disclose Scope 3 emissions, which typically represent the largest share of a company's carbon footprint. The EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive already applies to the largest companies, while UK Sustainability Reporting Standards are proposed to become mandatory for listed companies starting in 2027.
ASUENE shows how consolidating specialized sustainability platforms can help manufacturers collect supplier data, meet evolving disclosure requirements and manage decarbonization across increasingly complex global supplier networks.
